Davina Advocatuur operates on the principle that there is a time to learn and create value, and subsequently actively give that value back to society. We operate on a cost-covering basis and without a profit motive. The goal is not growth or profit, but impact.
Limited capacity, careful selection
The activities of Davina Advocatuur are carried out alongside our work as lawyers at Siemens Energy. This inherently limits our available capacity. For this reason, we apply a careful and strict selection process when accepting cases. This allows us to guarantee the quality, attention, and commitment that we value.
We do not represent clients who qualify for state-funded legal aid (so-called legal aid grants). In this way, we focus our efforts on precisely those cases and parties that risk falling through the cracks.
Training and guidance
In addition to legal services, Davina Advocatuur offers training and supervision to lawyers in a broad sense. We encourage professionals to consciously apply their knowledge and experience to socially relevant issues and public value.

Who are we?
Simone Davina is a business-oriented lawyer with extensive international experience in both the legal and corporate sectors. She has been admitted to the Dutch Bar Association since 1997 and has been registered as a solicitor with the Bar of England & Wales since 2020. She possesses in-depth sector knowledge in energy, infrastructure, and healthcare, with a strong track record in supporting large-scale projects, complex transactions, tenders, global financing structures, and corporate transformations. Simone serves as General Counsel Europe at Siemens Energy. Additionally, she is the founder of Davina Advocatuur and works in general practice.
Sanne IJzermans graduated in Dutch law from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2013. For the past 10 years, Sanne has worked as an in-house counsel, specializing in corporate law and with experience in financial law and commercial contract law. In 2021, she completed the Grotius program in Corporate and Business Law. She possesses a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach. In addition to her work as senior counsel at Siemens Energy, she is seconded to Davina Advocatuur, where she works in general legal practice.
